Biggest tidal ranges in the country

Ranges are the diurnal range (mean higher high water minus mean lower low water) from NOAA datums, available for 1901 of the 3071 stations. For contrast: Melbourne Causeway has a range of 0.3 ft — barely a ripple. The 2027 records are computed from a full year of NOAA predictions for 3066 of the 3071 stations.

About this site

Know the Tide serves official NOAA tide predictions for every US tide station — from Eastport, Maine to San Diego, from Key West to Dutch Harbor — with a clean 48-hour curve, a glanceable “tide now” readout, 7-day high/low tables, and a National Weather Service forecast overlay at each high tide. Coverage is NOAA's ocean and tidal-river stations in the coastal states, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, and American Samoa; the Great Lakes don't have tides, so they aren't here. No account, no clutter. More about the site.
